Frequently Asked Questions
How do I start the process?
Your first step is to either call our office or download the Employer
Application Form online and fax or email it back to us. You will then
speak with an agent who will ask you further questions to understand your
needs - they will listen closely to gain a better understanding of what
you are looking for in a nanny or caregiver. This first process allows us
to match our employers with our caregivers flawlessly.

What can your agency do that I can not do myself?
We, at Family Care Canada, know what it takes to finding the right
caregiver for your family. We act as a matching service and assess you,
the employer as well as our caregivers to the maximum to be able to create
the perfect match. Using an agency you will cut the first step in trying to
find the right caregiver yourself. We have agents in different countries who
pre-screen the candidates and from time to time Nir Rozenberg from our partnered Immigration Firm interviews
them personally. Family Care Canada will save you not only time, but the
headache it takes to find the right person.

Where do you find your nannies/caregivers?
There are 2 ways. Local nannies/caregivers are here in Canada who are looking for
positions. They call our office, or send us an application and we in turn interview
them and fill out paperwork which will allow us to get to know their strengths and
or weaknesses. Our overseas candidates are pre-screened by our agents abroad. Once
every couple of months Nir Rozenberg (a CSIC member in good standing) travels to these countries and
interviews the candidates personally. We choose only the best of the best, bring
their information here and promote them to our employers.

How do you screen your local nannies/caregivers?
Our local caregivers have already been pre-screened and approved by Canadian Immigration.
Once they call our office we meet with each one for an interview and check their
qualifications. In addition they fill out a lengthy application form which contains
information about their experience, previous employers, and personal information.

How do you screen overseas nannies/caregivers?
Nir Rozenberg, president of Can-Am Immigration is licensed by the Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants,
a body recognized by the government to oversee the actions and regulate
immigration consultants. Nir Rozenberg travels to our source countries
and interviews each and every applicant. He assesses their levels of
English, work experience, educational background and their personality
as a whole. Once Citizenship and Immigration Canada approves Nir's
candidates, we begin the paperwork process.
