Family Care Canada provides you, the employer, with personalized service from your initial phone call until placement. We provide highly skilled, qualified, and experienced nannies and caregivers for children, the elderly and the disabled.
Our large database allows you to access a vide number of local as well as overseas caregivers. You may select one or more caregivers and view their details, then decide which ones you would like to interview.
Upon your call to Family Care Canada, you will be asked a series of questions to allow us to understand your needs and requirements.
Overseas Nannies & Caregivers
- Wages based on full-time schedule of 40-44 hours per week (depending on province)
- Net weekly cost to employer is approximately $300 - $375 (depending on province)
- Lowest monthly cost for a nanny
- Qualifications & education are superior
- Most applicants have a minimum of 2 years previous experience
- Some caregivers also have a 6 months caregiver training
- Most affordable in-home care
- Caregivers are looking for long-term employment (1-2) years
- Applicants can be interviewed by telephone
- Could usually start to work within 3-4 months
Local Nannies & Caregivers
- Wages based on full-time schedule of 40-44 hours per week (depending on province).
Local caregivers typically request higher wages.
- Wages are based upon experience and duties performed.
Higher starting wages apply to professional nannies working in large estate homes.
- Net weekly cost to employer is approximately $300 - $375 (depending on province)
- Applicants can be interview personally
- Applicants have experience within Canada
- Long-term employment is less likely
- Caregivers have higher expectations of employer (wage, location, accommodation, etc.)
- Shorter placement time
- Local placements are generally not available in rural areas
Hiring a Nanny or Caregiver

Hiring locally - $500.00 placement fee
Our 3 Month Guarantee
We provide only the best and recruite only the exceptional. Our president pre-screens the candidates and
makes sure that they are the best of the best. We try to match our employers with our caregivers to the best of our
knowledge. However, from time to time it happens that one of our families or caregivers are not matched properly.
If this is the case, we will replace the nanny or caregiver at no cost within the first 3 months.
